28th Avenue and 31st Street Improvements

McElhanney (as formerly TRUE Consulting Kelowna) provided detailed design and construction management for the 28th Ave project (30th St to 32nd St) for the City of Vernon and RDNO. McElhanney completed the design for improvements on 28th Avenue, Coldstream Avenue and 31st Street including water, sewer and storm upgrades. The project is a joint venture project with RNDO and included watermain replacement on 28th Avenue and re-alignments on 31st Street.
28th Avenue and 31st Street required a revitalization of the streetscape and deep underground services. Our team delivered a project that created a safer pedestrian environment including safer vehicle turning movements, trees and benches. The City and local business provided praise for the improvement to the public and business for this core downtown area.
